Departing from Queenstown at approximately 7:00am, your day begins with complimentary pick-up from selected accommodation. From there, settle into a custom-built Mercedes designed for premium long-distance touring, with a glass roof, panoramic windows, bespoke seating, and a small group of no more than 15 guests. It is a comfortable and well-paced start to the day, hosted by an experienced guide.

The drive to Milford Sound is one of the defining parts of the experience. Mirror Lakes is one of those stops that leaves a lasting impression through its simplicity. On a calm day, the still water reflects the surrounding mountains with remarkable clarity, creating one of Fiordland’s most recognisable views.

The approach to the Homer Tunnel signals that Milford is getting close. Passing through the tunnel, the landscape shifts again, often becoming even more dramatic on the other side. In wet weather, waterfalls pour down the cliffs, while clear days reveal sharp alpine views all around.

On arrival in Milford Sound, you will bypass the passenger terminal and step directly aboard the MV Sinbad, the bespoke RealNZ vessel created for the Business Class experience. A complimentary glass of Cloudy Bay sparkling wine is served on arrival, while spacious seating, carefully considered interiors, and bespoke Māori carvings set the tone for the cruise ahead.

As you cruise through the fiord, enjoy a five-course degustation menu by renowned New Zealand chef Tom Hishon. Thoughtfully designed to complement the setting, the dining experience adds another layer to the journey without taking away from the scenery outside. Wine pairing is also available for those who wish to add it.

Cruising through Piopiotahi Milford Sound at a more relaxed pace allows the landscape to fully reveal itself. Towering cliffs, waterfalls, native wildlife, and the striking presence of Mitre Peak all become part of the experience, while a knowledgeable nature guide shares commentary and helps bring the fiord to life.

After your cruise, choose the return that suits you best. Travel back to Queenstown by road in the same business-class comfort, or upgrade to a scenic fixed-wing flight or helicopter transfer for an entirely different perspective over Fiordland.
